The presentation that I conducted about barriers of effective communication went clearly well and I have recieved some great feedback. The things that I had done well was obtaining eye contact to the audience to check that they were following what I was talking about. I remained at a certain pace so that I wasn't going too fast or too slow for the audience to loose track of what I was talking about. My presentation demostrated adequate content and was approapraite to last for six whole minutes. I wasn't too keen on relying on notes or becoming too hesitant because I had enough content on my prsentation to do so. The presentation had sufficient enough langauge and was appropraite to the subject. It was well presented and well structured and was quite consistent. I demonstrated the potential barriers and the mechanisms to reduce those barriers. Also I demostrated effective communication related to interpersonal skills.
But there were somethings that I didn't too well in. Some of my slides were a bit cluttered with quite a bit of text and I was reading from the whiteboard frequently and didn't notice the monitor that was in front of me.
To make ammendments to my presentation, I could split up my content on each slide so it would be easy for others to read. Another ammendment would be to read from the monitor in front of me so that I am not loosing contact with the audience.
